Efficacy of a screening for prevention and rehabilitation needs in primary care

A central responsibility of the German Pension Insurance is to promote and maintain the occupational participation of its insured persons. For this reason, a so-called “Ü45 screening” was developed to identify prevention and rehabilitation needs and evaluated with regard to psychometric characteristics, reliability and criterion validity. You can find the study protocol here.

The aims of the research project are:

  1. to investigate the feasibility of the usage of the Ü45 screening in GP practices
  2. to increase the number of applications for prevention and medical rehabilitation when using the Ü45 screening in GP practices
